Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Benson actually fell asleep in my arms on the way there. His finger soaked an entire burpcloth - those really thick white ones. When we got there I was surprised the ER was completely empty. They got us into an exam room and the bleeding had stopped enough to get a good look. So gross. It was sliced more than 3/4 thru. So guess what, we had to help hold him down. Anyone that has had their kid get an IV totally gets that its the saddest thing ever! Monday, November 1, 2010.

Saturday, October 31, 2009. We had a pretty fun Halloween this year. I've noticed it's alot easier to get Aaron to do things if I can convince him its for Tyler's enjoyment, not mine :) We made it to the pumpkin patch 3 times (Aaron went twice! And had a blast riding the tractor, looking at the animals, and sitting on a few pumpkins. I had fun carving our pumpkin - thanks to Tory letting us come over so I wouldn't have to do it alone. Friday, April 30, 2010. Has anyone else's kid had a mini meltdown because they thought Mater from Cars was broken? Tyler was playing with his little toy cars from the movie and he was so upset that Mater was "missing" a headlight. All he kept saying was "find it" "missing circle." - for like half an hour. Thursday, February 3, 2011. The November, December and some January recap! So many times our old farmer friends have told us about their cabin(s) but somehow never figured out a time we could all go. We finally had a chance. We had a late start because Aaron had to work but we drove the 2 and a half hours just past McCall where we were meeting Mike. Because it's waay up in the mountains, the only way to get there is by snowmobile. Or this:. It was cool seeing only a couple inches of the other street signs.

Thursday, March 3, 2011. Ok maybe like over a month ago.o well. Hooray for Benson making it to his 1st birthday! Since month 7 he has only gained 3 pounds for a total of 23 lbs. which is fine with me - it's hard to hold fat babies! Currently sleeps 13 hours at night and takes two lovely naps that total somewhere around 3 hours. LOVES to cuddle his big, white, fluffy bunny. It sheds and often looks like we own a cat. Has 4 teeth on top and 2 on bottom. Loves to clap, dance, climb and follow/copy Tyler.

Thursday, May 6, 2010. I can't believe my nephew is 8! Everybody went to Jackson Hole to celebrate and be there for Elijah's baptism. It was the best one I've ever been to. It was small and personal and really an amazing day. We're so proud of him! Tuesday, May 4, 2010. He is such a chunk! Weighing in just under 15 pounds at 3 months, he's a bald monster compared to what Tyler was. He has a completely different head shape but looking more and more like Tyler did everyday. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. The most wonderful time of the year! This is the first year in a long time that we just hung out at home by ourselves - and we LOVED it. Christmas Eve we had dinner with Aaron's family and came home and watched a movie together. Our friends came over after and the boys lost another 4 painful games of Sequence. Thursday, October 21, 2010. I was looking at some baby pictures of Tyler wondering how 3 years had gone by so fast! He came in while I was looking and he thought a newborn picture of him taking a bath in the sink was pretty silly. I figured, what the heck. Benson liked it too. We didn't do anything big - just had family and a few friends over. Some of his favorite cousins:. Not sure if he understands the whole 'wishing' thing:. And he can write his name!
