http://grandperks.blogspot.com/2014/12/procrastinator.html
Tuesday, December 23, 2014. So how lazy am I that I have not posted anything in a year! It is nice to know that I am good at something. Now for something that I have done that is right! Now I have decided that I want to memorize the mastery scriptures. Because we are studying the New Testament in church, I think I will start with those. I have the first one started. I actually already know it I just have to get it a little smother. Thanks David for making so much spaghetti! Posted by Papa and Mama. The g...

Grand Perks: April 2012

Sunday, April 22, 2012. Blessings come in strange packages. Sometimes those packages don't look like blessings when you first pick them up. Then you realize what great blessings you have. The weather forecast called for rain and some snow showers in northern Utah. (Blessing #1: I only hit rain and the roads were in good shape.). Les took the girls while David and I went up to see Melanie and meet Jacob Martin Mounteer. (Blessing #5: Jacob is beautiful and Melanie is doing well.). Posted by Papa and Mama.

Grand Perks: September 2012

Sunday, September 16, 2012. Somebody said it takes about six weeks to get back to normal after you've had a baby . . . Somebody doesn't know that once you're a mother, "normal" is history. Somebody said you learn how to be a mother by instinct . . . Somebody never took a three-year-old shopping. Somebody said being a mother is boring . . . Somebody never rode in a car driven by a teenager with a driver's permit. Somebody said if you're a "good" mother, your child will "turn out good". . . Somebody never ...

Sunday, December 14, 2008. Jalynn at her Christmas Concert. Jalynn played her violin in her Christmas concert. I think she did great. She went straight from her game against Uintah to the concert. It was a long night to say the least. Kolby slept through the game, Kruz slept through the concert. Kelly was in class and had to miss it all. That is why I took lots of video. The focus isn't that great, sorry. Kortney and the snow. Jalynn scores against Uintah! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Kortney and the snow.

Grand Perks: Tender Mercy 14
http://grandperks.blogspot.com/2012/12/tender-mercy-14.html
Sunday, December 16, 2012. I was listening to some Christmas music when Away in the Manger was playing. As I listened I was wondering how families living through tragedies were going to even stand to hear Christmas music. That is when the third verse began to play. Tears began to flow freely. Be near me, Lord Jesus; I ask thee to stay. Close by me forever, and love me, I pray. Bless all the dear children in thy tender care,. And fit us for heaven, to live with thee there. Grand Perks: Thankfulness
http://grandperks.blogspot.com/2013/11/thankfulness.html
Sunday, November 17, 2013. A couple of weeks ago I was setting in church when one of the speakers said that this is the time of year that we need to show thanks to the Lord for all that He has given us and done for us. Later I read a sign that said something like - what if today we only got the things that we thanked the Lord for yesterday. I started writing down what I was thankful for. 1 Husband- He supports me, encourages me, listens to me, loves me in spite of myself. 9 Parents- How grateful I am tha...
