Just another WordPress.com weblog. Notes on Fortran and stack size. February 12, 2009. Well, i was just remembering some difficulties i was having with fortran when i first started using it a few days ago. I was getting a lot of segmentation faults, right off the bat when i ran a program. The program would run fine when i ran it with lower iteration numbers or smaller picture sizes. So, the solution is to put the variables in the heap. but fortran doesnt know what a heap is. Some more on image processing.
