The German Boy (Bio). Easter Gathering at Arnies - April 5, 2015. A small but congenial gathering for our traditional Easter feast of tortilla soup, spinach enchiladas, and rice along with a delicious salad and trimmings. On hand were the usual suspects including a newcomer. Bear the golden retriever. The German Boy (Bio). June through July, 2015 - Carving the Maple Trunk. We had a rather large maple cut down that grew next to the deck, sending lateral roots across the lawn and dumping all kinds of debris on the deck and gutters. The German Boy (Bio). July 16, 2015 - Another Current River Outing with Steve and Barbara. We try to canoe down the Current River before all the Summer vacationers come out but it just didn't work out this year. We had a lot of rain and associated flooding, so when the rains ended and the river levels receeded, we made our move. The German Boy (Bio). August, 2015 - Chris visits us before leaving for Colorado. Christopher is following in Jennifers footsteps and relocating to Denver, CO from his current residence in Columbia, MO. His visit to St. Louis was short but we packed in as much as possible. Arnie and Rebecca invited us over for dinner that featured all those wonderful things that Rebecca conjures up and some master grillng from Arnie of steaks, the size of which can normally only be found in Texas.
