http://blog.ingy.net/2009/04/social-fork.html
Sunday, April 19, 2009. It appears that Socialtext has changed their mind. At the start of this month I was laid off by my employer of the last 5 years, Socialtext. I was Socialtext's first hire, presumably to gain my expertise from developing the open source wiki, Kwiki. Since then, Socialtext has grown to employ as many as 50 people and has become the defacto leader in enterprise wiki software. They have branched out into other social software directions, and Kwiki, sadly, has all but died. This was in...

FLL: Matching LEGO wheels. Roborama 2012a →. Oslo Perl 6 Patterns Hackathon, Days 1-2. For the past couple of days I’ve been in Oslo, Norway, attending the Perl 6 Patterns Hackathon. How Can I Explain This?: December 2009
http://howcaniexplainthis.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
How Can I Explain This? A blog mostly about Perl; the community, the language and its variants, programming Perl, Perl annoyances, Perl joys, etc. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Repeat after me: I will not pretend to be an analyst or doomsayer, even though the end (of 2009) is nigh. In 2009, Perl grew up a bit more, both as a language and as a community. Perl 5.10.1 came with a pony to those of us who fear the .0 releases. Pass the chips), and get off my lawn before I shoot or hug you. I hope you will too.
