Margo's Permaculture Adventures: Produce no waste
http://margospermaculture.blogspot.com/2009/01/produce-no-waste.html
Saturday, January 3, 2009. Practical new shelves from waste. Cost - about 25c in petrol to get to the tip. In the past I've collected these fridge door 'shelves' and used them to grow seedlings (drill holes in the bottom for drainage) - they are very sturdy and work well. This is a great idea. I collect things too for future "parts" and really enjoy seeing what others come up with using salvaged things. May 22, 2009 at 6:50 AM. May 22, 2009 at 4:16 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Margo's Permaculture Adventures: Mini-permablitz garden update
http://margospermaculture.blogspot.com/2009/01/mini-permablitz-garden-update.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. The mini-permablitz garden is struggling along. The beans haven't done at all well - I think there's not enough soul to stay moist enough to keep them happy. It's also a windy spot in the garden which adds to the drying effect. The zucchini and squash are coming along, but the pumpkins aren't going anywhere in a hurry, alas. The 40 temps this week won't be helping either. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Good Life Down Under. Murrnong - David Arnold's site.

Thursday, October 30, 2008. So where to now? OK, I have my PDC and a head stuffed full of information and ideas - what do I do now? I think the principles that most apply here are observe and interact, and small and slow solutions. To sum it up I need to take a "hurry up and wait" approach! There are so many things I want to do on our property, but I really need to cultivate (no pun intended! In the meantime there are some small things that I am doing:. Links to this post.
