Vintage black velvet belted coat: thrifted. Vintage button up blouse: thrifted. Month's ago I was asked by Lucky Magazine. To come up with a simple little styling trick that was easy on the pocket and perfect for winter. I thought a babushka head scarf fit the bill so that's what I came up with. It's pretty cinchy, just find a thin kerchief (square ones work the best), fold in half to make a triangle, and tie around your head and neck. Beyond easy, yes? I'm on instagram now! Vintage blouse: thrift store. Vintage skirt: thrift store. 70s leather penny loafers (came with pennies! A week ago we had some weird weather in Southern California. Muggy, hot, overcast, and rainy- it totally reminded me of NYC in August. I was going to head out the door sans socks but since it was so ugly and gray out I figured a pair of bright socks would be a nice touch. On a different note, I'm in July's issue of Candy Magazine. MILK TEETHS: Paris Photo Diary Part 1
http://milkteeths.blogspot.com/2014/11/paris-photo-diary-part-1.html
Paris Photo Diary Part 1. Oh yeah, remember when I went to Paris earlier this year? Well, I don't blame you since my upkeep with this "blogging" business has been laughable as of late. I think I took fifty photos of all the different ornate doors I saw in Paris. The calm before the storm. We were able to do a small bit of strolling through the Tuileries before the first downpour. The hot chocolate is so good. Menacing clouds at the Louvre. The stained glass doesn't get old. Outrageous art deco tile work?

Vintage 1960s cocktail dress: pile sale. Vintage snake skin clutch: thrift store. Leopard flats: Dani Black C/O HSN. So around two years ago I was asked to be a part in a Los Angeles fashion and style book and you better believe I said yes! To make the deal even sweeter, Melissa Magsaysay. Who is the style editor at the LA Times would be writing this book (fun fact: Melissa is also a Filipina- holla- with a pretty illustrious family history back in the Philippines. Riddle me that, eh? I LOVE that dress!

Koala Sweater: Get it at CardiganKing. Vintage Levi's cords: Pile Sale. Old hat: Borrowed from Grant. Sweet sweater, eh? What a winning combination. In other news, I recently saw the film Hugo and it was so good! I have no idea why the marketing for the movie was so terrible (I remember seeing a preview for it a few months ago and it looked so dumb/ too little kid-ish) because the movie was great. Directed by Martin Scorsese, no less! Next movie on my to see list: The Artist. Kind of old news (yikes!
