I think we crammed about as many activities as humanly possible in 3 days (really more like 2.5), and everyone had an amazing time! My excuse though is the number of family traditions we still are expected to partake in on each side of our extended families. I'm a willing participant, but it doesn't leave much room for adding new ones for our little family! Britton Kasey and Leyton Eliot. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. This week was Parent-Observation Day at Gymnastics. Even though I get to watch each week, I'm always amazed by how far they've come over the year, b/c yes, I admit it. I do sit in the waiting room and play on my phone or read a magazine. It's some of the only "me" time I get. He doesn't cry when I drop him off each week anymore, and really seems to enjoy gymnastics. Laughing through a backbend. Love that smile! Quite the headstand king these days.

Britton Kasey and Leyton Eliot. Monday, March 28, 2011. I'm a big boy. A little about Leyton at three: He is a superstar talker now. We carry on full conversations, and he says things that make us laugh almost constantly. Grammatically, he's a bit off, but we love that at this age. For example, instead of "where did you go Momma? It's "where you went Momma? The birthday boy was NOT interested in standing still for pictures! This was the best I got. Doesn't he look so grown up? Ella has some serious bounce.

Britton Kasey and Leyton Eliot. Thursday, August 12, 2010. And So It Begins. Today was the first day of Kindergarten. We had laid everything out last night, packed his backpack, lunchbox, and snack. We got up this morning, tried to act like it was any other day (plus a few little "first day of kindergarten gifts" I'd picked up), and got ready to leave. I snapped no less than 800 pictures and off we went. And now I'm counting down the hours until I get to pick up sweet B! Doesn't he look so grown up?

Britton Kasey and Leyton Eliot. Friday, May 21, 2010. 5 years, 2 wheels, and 1 blessed mama. A little late on the Mother's Day post, but better late than never. I just can't believe this was my 6th Mother's Day to celebrate as a Mommy (7th if you count the one right after we found out we were expecting sweet Britton)! Um, ok. So my sweet little Britton is now a 2-wheel-no-training-wheels-bike-rider and I couldn't be more proud! I think PJ's a little disappointed that he didn't get to teach.

How is it I'm now the proud momma of a first grader and a three year old? Doesn't that officially make me old? Leyton with Miss Ariel and Ms. Susan. Mrs LeBlanc and Mrs. Hopkins. She's a brave woman.
