For about four years after I moved to Milton Keynes in 1996, I was an active member of the Milton Keynes Covenant Fellowship. Or MKCF for short, now known as King's Church - an evangelical charismatic church, meeting at various local venues around the city. I was then a member of the Milton Keynes Vineyard. For a couple of years, and since marrying Katy and moving to Farnham I've been part of Pioneer People Farnham. And now the Farnham Vineyard. My baptism in water. My commitment into MKCF.

My interest this time around was however sparked first by something altogether more earthly in origin - namely artificial satellites, and most specifically, the Iridium communications satellites launched by Motorola. Like all satellites - for example Mir, which was one of the first satellites I specifically looked out for, rather than just randomly spotting - their orbits are entirely predictable.

26th May to 2nd June 2001, 3rd to 10th August 2002. As for Newquay itself, it's a seaside town, with what one would expect of a seaside town - though perhaps not done to death quite as much as if it had been closer to major population centres. The 2001 trip down coincided with the infamous annual Run to the sun. So that was that, really. On with a selection of photographs for your enjoyment! War memorial (by Rachael).
