Tuesday, April 11, 2006. Holiday Jottings - Cusco (Day 3). Today we went river rafting. I thought it would be a good idea to try something a little extreme (well, for me at least) and Eric agreed. We signed up for a day on the Rio Urubamba with a company called (funnily enough) Eric Adventures. Or, failing that, cling on to the raft, which is slightly harder. Friday, April 21, 2006. Holiday Jottings: Cusco-Puno (08 April 2006). Eventually I gave him S/.4. He did take me to those other stones not mentioned in the guidebook though, so I guess it was sort of OK. So I could have seen more of Cusco, like Coricancha, after all (sigh). Anyway, to kill time after checking in we ended up having lunch at this place which had menus for S/.2! Absolutely amazing - soup and. For just a little more than the price of a bottle of water.
