Just another WordPress.com site. Machu Picchu →. June 30, 2011. We have not stayed in a hotel where washcloths are provided. There are very few traffic lights (I think I have only seen one in Cusco), haven’t seen a stop sign. They will make 3 lanes out of 2. I have not seen even a fender bender. Even dogs seem to know how to cross the road without getting hit. Papaya juice appears to be more popular than orange juice at breakfast buffets. Behind-the-ear patches for motion sickness are my new best friend.

Just another WordPress.com site. July 3, 2011. As I mentioned, we did not get to go to Puno or Lake Titicaca, which was a big disappointment. We were looking forward to seeing the floating islands. But, we took a city tour of Lima this morning. It is winter here, and they say that the sky in winter looks like a donkey’s belly – GRAY! Today is our last day in Peru. Lilypie First Birthday tickers. Saturday, October 15, 2011. Our first trip to the pumpkin patch! It is mid October and today was the first day it actually felt like fall! We had a great day at Russel Farms in Noblesville. It was a smaller pumpkin patch and had lots of personality. The decor was amazing and I loved all the different activities they had for the kids. What really topped it off was when they started playing a Beatles song in a country twang! It really came in handy today! I love my family!

Lilypie First Birthday tickers. Sunday, June 19, 2011. Daddy had a great weekend visiting some great friends! The Tinsley's came up from the Vern and stayed with the Burris's. Daddy got to have some fun times with his friends. He is such a great dad and really needed some time to spend with his good buddies. We met up with everyone at Ben and Arie's for some putt putt! Mommy did awful, but dada came in second place! We then headed over to Clay and Ashley's for a cook out and boy were those burgers yummy!
