This is a record of my learning at Point England School in Auckland, NZ. Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Last term in Extension, we did the 40 hour famine. Because of this, we explored all kinds of things that people who lived in poor parts of the world use for work, cooking and all kinds of stuff. He came to give us a personal view on what's it like to get a pe'a (samoan tattoo). Not only that but to give us a closer look at the intricate designs. Mr Tele'a was a really good model and teacher. We all prepared questions to ask him and he answered them with great detail. The questions varied from: 'What did your parents think when you wanted to get a tatau? Maui and the Sun.

This was in the works for 4 weeks as the Year 9s and 10s of Tamaki College were apart of a integrated learning programme and this was one of the final products of that programme.
