Es una empresa familiar Magallánica Chilena perteneciente al matrimonio formado por Milton Saldivia Uribe y Teresa Saldivia Moraga, y junto a sus tres hijos Verónica, Juan Oscar y Milton Alejandro levantaron con esfuerzo y entusiasmo lo que hoy es Pesquera Melinka, por más de 2 décadas se han dedicado al desarrollo de la industria de los crustáceos congelados.
