Sunday, February 20, 2011. She's 'tutu' much fun! I am happy to say that M2's 2nd birthday party was a success! She was as adorable as ever, and the cupcakes were delightful.among other things. ;) The theme for the party was 'two two cute', so there was plenty of tulle to go around! I made tutu centerpieces for the tables with some help from my amazingly talented grandma - thanks, Joey! I think one of my first ideas was to put a tutu around the cake stand.and BOY, was it cute! Sisters like parties too.

Wednesday, May 26, 2010. And she knows all the letter sounds. As a teacher, I'm obviously proud. :) I already have a few things in mind to work on during the summer.poor girl. Ha! Now to the good stuff. We had a GREAT party this past weekend for our birthday girl. It was actually more of a birthday WEEKEND than just a birthDAY, and it was perfect! We feel so blessed that most of our family and friends are able to come to the parties. It wouldn't be the same without them. Our little Barbie collector.

Friday, June 18, 2010. Well, B said to me the other day."You don't do anything all day, why can't you update the blog more often? A couple things 1) He thinks the bathroom cleans itself and the children feed themselves obviously and 2) He was kidding. At least, he better have been! I could hardly sleep last night after that! It's not like I'm not already a super-worrier about my kids' illnesses. Hopefully they'll be feeling better soon! June started with M1's dance recital. So cute! Coloring with Uncle J!

Thursday, July 1, 2010. I'm IN LOVE with my vacation with my favorite girls! We really are having a great time together! I have decided that M2 is actually more fun every day. She's old enough now that she can do pretty much everything with M1 - or at least along SIDE of her. :) She's starting to talk more every day, can go with the flow a little more (as far as scheduling goes), and is truly a sweetheart. She's fun! It's kind of sad, but I think it had it's 'time' for sure! We're so proud of her!

Saturday, January 30, 2010. Malts and Matching Jammies. I had a few cute pictures to share, and since this is my New Year's resolution, I thought I better keep on top of things here! Last weekend we enjoyed malts after naps on Saturday.M1 was so excited to help out, and slurped it right down! Enjoying our strawberry malts. Mmmm! Looks like someone is waiting for a taste! Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Photo Shoot of Emmersen. It has been a while since we did a photo shoot of Emmersen, so a couple weekends ago we did a quick photo shoot. We needed some photos for her FIRST birthday invites (I can't believe she will be ONE next month! She did great for the first 20 minutes, then she had enough. But we were happy with the photos we got :-). How big are you? I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that she will be one next month! Sleeps great, naps great, EATS GREAT!

Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Sickness hit the Melhus Girls! Last week Thurs, Avree started getting a mild cough and a runny nose (clear). Well it kept getting worse and Friday night she had a temp. It didn't last very long. maybe an hour or two but her cough was sounding worse and worse. Well a couple weeks ago they had "Cow Appreciation Day". If you dressed up like a cow you got a free meal. The only words that I saw in that last sentence was FREE MEAL :-) You guessed it. What we have been up too: Avree started Kindergarten in the fall and is loving it. She goes all day, every day. Long day! She just got her recital costumes and wants to wear them all the time!
