Thursday, March 19, 2009. This past Monday I said goodbye to a friend, a doggy friend. Her name was Basha. She was a 15 1/2 years old mutt. Me and Jack took Basha into our home after her previous owner, Bob Colston, died. We loved them both dearly, and the comfort we have is that they are now reunited. Located in rural Hamilton, one hour west of Toronto. The burial of pets is a custom which has been established in Europe for hundreds of years. Our pet cemetery is named after Wassenaar, a seaside town in Holland where we first noticed a hundred year old pet cemetery and became aware such formally designated places even existed.
