http://melanieskrafty.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Knot on Your Life. Sunday, February 27, 2005. And the Color of the Day Is. Brooke and Jack were supposed to meet up with us too, but Jack decided that he wanted to spend the day at home and Brooke thinks he's still too young to stay home alone ;-) We missed you, Brooke (and Jack). I finished those bunnies, except for to clean up the loose ends of yarn. And I made some progress on the hat I'm working on. Posted by Mel at 8:02 AM. Wednesday, February 23, 2005. http://melanieskrafty.blogspot.com/2008/04/its-me-again.html
Knot on Your Life. Sunday, April 20, 2008. It's Me, Again. Would you believe that I think of post topics nearly everyday and yet they never make it to the actual blog? It's a shame, but at least I haven't forgotten about blogging altogether. So if anyone still has me marked in their Bloglines, or still checks to see if I'm still around, I say hello to you. I've been knitting a little and being crafty in my spare time. I also just had my house fixed up and painted. I'm very pleased with the results. E-Jou...

http://melanieskrafty.blogspot.com/2007/12/finally.html
Knot on Your Life. Saturday, December 22, 2007. A chance to wear knitted items! You may not be able to see them very well, but I am wearing a hat knit from Noro Kureyon and a scarf made by Jazz. And a cat health-scare. My own health scare, too, but all is well in the land of Mel at this time and I am nothing less than grateful for it. Happy holidays to you all! Posted by Mel at 10:59 AM. Knot on Your Life: August 2005
http://melanieskrafty.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Knot on Your Life. Wednesday, August 24, 2005. What's in the Hopper? A surprise for Jazz. I can't say too much about it, but it's looking pretty good. Another attempt at making a felted hat from a whimsical idea in my brain. I hope it turns out the right size, 'cos I don't want to make it again. But at least this time I wrote down what I did. Swatching, you say? Do I have to answer that? And I couldn't help myself. Blue Sky Alpaca Cotton is on sale at KnitPixie. Posted by Mel at 11:01 PM. I was hoping th...

http://melanieskrafty.blogspot.com/2007/05/flashin-back-to-april.html
Knot on Your Life. Thursday, May 24, 2007. Flashin' back to April. Earth Day was celebrated on April 22 this year and in it's honor a couple of friends and I went down to the Trunk Space. In Phoenix and participated in Swaporama. Here is my one and only transformation:. What's that in my hand you ask? It's a swap gift from Jazz. It's a beautiful organic cotton. And check out the lining. Looks like avocados. I love it. Posted by Mel at 9:30 AM. Chandler, Arizona, United States. View my complete profile.

Knot on Your Life: July 2005
http://melanieskrafty.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Knot on Your Life. Sunday, July 31, 2005. Top to bottom: Tails, head/body, ears, and tongues. All the pieces/parts have been sewn together and felted down to form baby booties. They're blocking and then I've got to knit on the cuffs. The finished product should be done sometime this week. Today I realized that I will need to find a new project for the yarn I bought at the farmer's market. I don't have enough yardage for my original idea. So instead I cast on today for Cyd. I love starting a new project!

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you. For example. Remember when I used to post to this blog? Knot on Your Life: A Testament to Knitting for Others
http://melanieskrafty.blogspot.com/2008/08/testament-to-knitting-for-others.html
Knot on Your Life. Wednesday, August 13, 2008. A Testament to Knitting for Others. When you make something. And you get a reaction like this from the recipient. It makes you want to knit one for everyone you know. If only I had the time! Albert Einstein From the book Knitted Icons. Some dk cotton in an ivory color. I can't remember, but it's not crucial to the project to use a specific yarn, anyway. No surprise there. Love my dolls! Will I make another? Definitely, sort of! He is just perfect.

Knot on Your Life: Summer in 1000 words or less
http://melanieskrafty.blogspot.com/2008/08/summer-in-1000-words-or-less.html
Knot on Your Life. Friday, August 01, 2008. Summer in 1000 words or less. It's been a long time so it's no surprise that a lot has happened since the previous post. It would be overly ambitious to try to encapsulate it all in 1 post, so I'll just try to cover the highlights. The last time I posted, was just before my trip to visit St Pam. And go to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. What a blast! Won first prize. Yay! It was so much fun to put together. Here is the real reason for the trip:. The Lusci...
