Tern Island Times: Last Day
http://ternisland.blogspot.com/2010/09/last-day.html
Monday, September 20, 2010. Better late than never, right? My last week here was a lot like the others. Pulling weeds, counting birds, finding turtle hatchlings to save, snorkeling and picking up marine debris, fixing tractors, boats, and generators, and all that usual stuff. Maybe they'll let me pull weeds and fix something at my apartment complex in D.C? And I'm sure there will be no shortage of marine debris on the Potomac, I'm also pretty sure that I won't have any snorkel pics to show you. Thanks fo...

Tern Island Times: March 2010
http://ternisland.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 21, 2010. I just noticed I didn't take any pictures of the Kahana or airplane this time. Oh well, you can check my older posts if you want to see them again. Just pretend they are from Saturday. Here's Caitie getting a good picture of a green sea turtle. Here's a reef whitetip shark (I took this picture a couple of weeks ago). It was too close to fit in the frame. You need at least one picture of the birds. Just another Tern Island sunset. Sunday, March 14, 2010. Sunday, March 7, 2010.

News and Views From JEO: November 2012
http://bloggendrauf.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
My perspective on life as I experience it from day 1. Saturday, November 24, 2012. In July we made a trip back to Patrick Creek. To do a little swimming. It was cold but beautiful. Aunt Linda was with us and really enjoyed the deep pool. In the middle fork of the Smith River. Bear enjoyed it too! I really did not venture much past this area. What a wonderful summer day! Saturday, November 24, 2012. Links to this post. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. If a day is hot enough it really does not mater. We got to ...

Tern Island Times: August 2010
http://ternisland.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 29, 2010. 6 turtle hatchlings are patiently waiting in the bucket for sunset so they can get on with their lives. This was a nice turtle release party in the rain. We had somewhere around 45 of them to let go this time. Here's a row of masked boobies on the log on East Island. We still have to pick up trash there though. Here's Sarah pulling out a rope with buoys that was stuck on some coral. The yellow tangs always add some nice color to the pictures. I've been having trouble getting a pi...

Tern Island Times: May 2010
http://ternisland.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 31, 2010. Disappearing Island and Visitors. It was another fun week, as always. We're up to about 1,000 albatross chicks banded, and started the banding of the Bonin petrel chicks also. There's not many of them here though. We're also still banding red-tailed tropicbird chicks and will be for most of the year. Other than that, we've got the usual stuff going on around here. Lots of chicks, lots of eggs of different species, and lots of noise from the sooty terns. An old lobster trap still sit...
