The arrow keys can be used to set the snake's direction when the game is running. The button can be used to start a new game, as well as pause and resume an existing game. Every time the snake eats food the score increases by 1, and the snake grows one square longer. The game is over when the snake runs into its own tail. The grid, controller and snake are modules encapsulated using closures. Tested in Chrome 34, Firefox 28 and IE11. See the snake application's page on GitHub. For the full source code.

Revealed squares in next game (use slider):. A new grid of numbers is generated at the start of every game. Move the slider below the buttons to control how many squares in the next new game will have their numbers revealed. A number can be selected in an empty square by hovering the square, and selecting a number from the drop-down menu that appears. Numbers can be removed from these squares by selecting the 'none' value in the drop-down menu. Tested in Chrome 34, Firefox 28 and IE11.
