As you may or may not know - Wacky Chess keeps score. Here's the formula for keeping score. You know the points system some people use in chess? Pawns are worth 1 point. Bishops and Knights are worth 3 points. Rooks are worth 5 points. Queens are worth 9 points. Kings are priceless, but some people call that 3 1/2 points. In Wacky Chess, Kings are 4 points. Take the attacking power * 10 * the number of spaces a piece moves. You get those points for this move. Now the more technical version:. 200 points f...

A game of chess starts in this position:. Notice the square of the queen matches the piece. In other words, a white queen goes onto a white square. In Wacky Chess - a green square is a white square, and a blue square is a black square. Notice that a blue square MUST be at the bottom-left corner everytime you start a game! It's very important especially for the expert chess player. A pawn can move three possible ways. If a piece is not there, a pawn may not make this move.
