Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Quick notes, more for me. I spent most of today with Samwel, an evangelist that I met yesterday. We bonded really quickly over Obama and discussion about our families, as is usual, and spent a good portion of the day playing with my camera-which he still has. ha. . Steve tore up the soccer field this afternoon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Other tz student blogs. Quick notes, more for me. The end of the endless summer. St Paul, Minnesota, United States.

Monday, September 29, 2008. That's right folks. Peter Hathaway Watters gets the grand prize: MALARIA! 160;He is really excited. His acceptance speech was really moving and consisted mostly of moans, heavy breathing and spasms of pain. For his efforts he gets to take home some medicine. Lucky boy. Sunday, September 28, 2008. Oh yeah. I should talk a little about what we did. See I get caught up in my mind and forget to write about the things that people really want to read about. Whoops. I feel so m...

No For it is the subtle things that we see that others have not and that we have not seen that others have and wil that make every individual experience uniquely rich. Subtleties make all the difference. . 160;That tinga tinga is cool. I do get a kic...After eatin...

Steve’s Africa Weblog. My love affair with Tanzania. Bull;December 5, 2008 • 3 Comments. The knife painter took us to his place which had amazing views of the city. He has this eccentric multistory studio all to himself. I didn’t really get a chance to see him at work, but the sights around his place were really interesting. This picture just feels like what I imagined Zanzibar to be. Nutmeg… apparently it can get you high. The beach itself was beautiful and full of beautiful life and seashells. Our ...

Karibu!: November 2008
http://timintz.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 29, 2008. This evening, after tea, I just spent a long time in Jimmy's room with him and Moreto and a couple of younger students who I don't know. We listened to music and talked about Moreto's 400 girl friends. Way good. It was a nice room with electricity. Jimmy's pretty upset about us leaving and I am too in some ways. . Friday, October 31, 2008. Please stop saying this! The statement suggests that the people committing the violence are somehow less human than the speaker. Thus, it is dehumanizing! http://timintz.blogspot.com/2008/11/quick-about-today.html
Wednesday, November 26, 2008. First, I forgot to mention yesterday that the men served nearly everything. That was odd. The choir at this church is amazing. They compete and do quite well. It is the one that I wrote about which is led by a young girl and they write their own music. So good. . When we enter villages we are strangers. When we leave, close friends. .
