A Little Bit of Summerlin. Monday, June 27, 2011. A couple of weekends ago Peter and I went to the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans. It was beautiful! It was so very hot that day, but it was worth it. It was so nice to go down to New Orleans for the day and spend some time together. I sure do love having all of my weekends off! It was so hot that most of the animals were sleeping in the shade. I loved the gorilla! He was so big! This little guy was our favorite. I think he was putting on a show for us!

A Little Bit of Summerlin. Wednesday, March 11, 2009. My great-grandfather, John Clyde Campbell passed away last weekend at the age of 95 years old. What a long and wonderful life he had! Friday, March 6, 2009. I recently bought a new cookbook from Williams- Sonoma. That has some really great and quick recipes. Tuesday night, I tried one of the recipes and we really liked it! So, I decided to share! Lemongrass chicken and asparagus. Salt and freshly ground pepper. Peanut or canola oil - 2 tablespoons.
