We visited Colorado National Monument, went on a little hike and took pictures. Monday-7/17, we saw more cliff dwellings at Montezuma Well and Montezuma Castle and then we finished our road trip home. After all we packed into the trip we were glad to be back home! Saturday, May 16, 2015. Today we cleaned up trash at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. The beach clean up was part of a service project that Connor's school/my work participated in. Several families showed up and it was easy to keep track of the kids as they all had the same fluorescent yellow t-shirt on. Then we all had a little fun on the playground. Friday, July 17, 2015. July 5th around 6:30am we set off for Yellowstone. It was our family and my dad. We drove to Drew and Emily's house getting in around 10pm. The kids enjoyed playing with each other until about midnight and then we pulled out our sleeping bags and had a sleepover on their family room floor. Sunday, March 30, 2014. Friday morning before breakfast. It was quite cold in the morning and very cold at night.Heidi insisted on going around without a jacket and shoes most of the time. Kirk and Connor playing on a rock. Heidi joins the group. At one point Connor says, "Are you all buckled up? When asked where they were going, Connor replied, "Costco.". Connor liked the big trees. Connor and Daddy trying out Daddy's new hiking contraption.the piggy back rider. Connor climbs up the rock like a spider.

Sunday, March 28, 2010. Fun at the park! Jonathan and I decided to have a picnic at the lake and fly a kite. So, we hiked around to the opposite side of the lake (in flipflops, mind you.) and enjoyed some scrumptious tuna sandwiches and then assembled the "Tree Frog". This is the "Tree Frog" in flight. Monday, April 30, 2012. Painting with the Hubby. The building looked like new! There were so many people there with rollers, brushes, ladders, etc. Johnny and I mostly did touch up, making sure no spots were missed. It's amazing how much can be done when we all come together in a spirit of community service. As you can tell from the picture, Johnny insisted on leaving his mark on the building.
