Burden in my hand. Here you will find my musings, rantings, and ravings. I openly invite opposing points of view. I'd rather have more comments on why you disagree than why you agree. For as many as heeded them, had fallen away. But what do you do when you know the adversary's game plan, and you don't move from your spot, but you still feel the emptiness of your position and the desire to be loved and accepted in the way that only the evil one can provide? I don't have the command of my emotional faculti...

Do you like me, yes or no? Please check one and send back to me.) So when girls were friendly, I immediately mistook their attempts at friendship as a direct signal of their strong interest in me. There were a few exceptions, of course, but by and large this was the rule. I I just don't believe you! As I've matured (yes, it...

Your families aren't safe." They weren't before Guantanamo Bay closed. Osama Bin Laden is still out there. Closing Gitmo was the right thing to do. You can't continue to defend who you are and what makes you great (liberty, justice, and civil rights) while running a place like Guantanamo Bay. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

On importance and self-respect. This time, it was a bit different. Respect. It means different things to different people in different walks of life. What did it mean to me? But I digress. Sort of. To fix this, it dawned on me, I have to begin to throw out the silly notion that others will give me that self-respect. Loo...

Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Bradley L. Hill. Wow, I hadn't the slightest that Campbell Brown was capable of such unbiased confessions. Many of us already knew that Obama had broken promises for his own gain, but for Campbell to be advertising it. I'm still shocked. I suddenly have respect for her- not because she's dogging Obama, but because she's actually being fair. Thanks for the heads up, Seth. Always good stuff rolling from SoHa/SoHo/SeHi. SoHa To SoHo: Save the Spur!
http://sethillama.blogspot.com/2008/12/save-spur.html
Monday, December 01, 2008. The High Line is an amazing strip of elevated rail line built in the 1930s that used to be used to transport goods from Midtown down to the Meatpacking District. Over the course of the century, it fell into disuse and was close to being torn down. Fortunately, the local community fought to protect it, and in a couple months, a section of it will open as a brilliant elevated walkway/park. If this moves you as it does me, try to attend tonight. Be sure to RSVP. Clueless in La Mesa.

Saturday, April 25, 2009. The picture on the right is of a fire hydrant I found in a Brooklyn alley. It kinda reminds me of the United States Capitol Building. Here's an idea for some guerilla art:. 1 Spray paint a hydrant white. 2 Put a little plastic figurine on top. 3 Bring a little DC to NYC. Saturday, April 11, 2009. Today I got a new umbrella. Shame, greed, and ego. I know this is a rambling post. It sounded a lot more straightforward in my head. I had hoped that writing this would make those back-of-your-mind desires for worldly recognition dissipate, but if fixing your problems was as easy as blogging about them I'd be near perfect by now. Shame, greed, and ego.
