October 22, 2014. Mygroup being Nick, Susanna and I were tasked with recreating a shot from the opnin of Kill Bill. We had to look at aspects of mise en scene in order to help us d this, such as lighting, make up and costume. The shot we were given to recreate was this:. We had some obstacles being we could not find a place with lighting that was very similar to that in the orginal image, we therefore had to make do and use a blazer to block some light while susanna turned to the side slightly more.

October 17, 2014. From endings to beginnings. Today we were given a set of endings, and worked backwards from those to obtain a narrative structure of a film. My group consists of Harry, Suzanna, Lucy M and I. Our narrative structure came from the ending, ‘The murderer was caught’. We have spoken with the class and came to the conclusion that we should make the opening less stereotypical and will work together to think of ideas as to how we can do this.
