It's my blog and I'll blather if I want to. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Our Little Fighter is Fighting No More. Coquette in the Hospital Cage. We've just lost Coquette. He (yes, Coquette is Male despite the name) is a survivor who went through a lot of stuff that, to be blunt, should have taken him years ago. But he just simply wasn't ready yet. He had stuff to do. Despite a wonky liver, he lived, for the most part, a happy life, chasing after the females and singing his little heart out whenever he could.

She was Born July 31, 2011, the only female in a litter of 5 kittens. All her brothers were adopted out and she was waiting just for us to take her home. We adopted Sugar on March 3, 2012 from the North Toronto Cat Rescue. She and Gordito quickly (like within 72 hours) became the best of friends. Happy Birthday, Sugar.

He wasn't a greedy misanthropist who sold shiny gadgets made with sweatshop labour. Yet, hardly a news outlet will mention his passing, geek and technology sites notwithstanding. If someone should thoughtlessly sit on the furniture with dirty clothes, or if food or drink should accidentally be spilled on the bedsheets, they can be relatively easily removed and washed.
