Dany llegó hasta tercera ronda donde fue eliminado por el hijo de la leyenda el 10 x campeón de Brasil Picuruta Salazar( quien con 50 años también corrió y llego a semifinales), Alex Leco Salazar, demostró un surf mas fuerte que el argentino, quien no pudo pegar una buena ola para sumar lo suficiente!
