Velut arbor Aevo. 딸아이가 다니는 토론토 대학의 모토는 이제 오히려 내가 곰씹어 하루 하루 되새김질 해야하는 정서적이자 실체적 관념이 되어버렸다. 가을의 부드러운 햇살이 아득히 내려 앉아 있는 퍼팅 그린을 멀리서 바라보며 걷는다. 어떤 카펫보다 부드러운 촉감으로 내 걸음을 내딪게 해 주는 촉촉한 잔디 길은. 한잎 한잎이. 뭔가 내게 소곤거리는 것 같기도. 그럴때면 조용히 슈즈를 벗어들고 맨발로 걷기도 한다. 그 푸르렀던 모든 잎들을 다 떨어뜨리고선 겨울을 맞이하며 늠름히 서있는 고목을 보면 경외심 마저 든다. 조그만 씨앗에서 움터 한해 한해 사계절의 햇살과 풍파를 제대로 견뎌내며. 잎을 피우고 꽃을 피우고 나이테를 늘려간다. 이변이 없는 한 이러한 지극히 친생태적인 나무의 생명 프로세스는 십년, 백년, 천년을 넘어,.

Warangler Sahara. again. :p, Kamsack SK Oct 29 2012. 오늘 월요일. 우리 호텔의 레스토랑이 쉬는 날이다. 호텔의 바(술집)는 연중무휴로 열지만 레스토랑은 월요일 날 쉰다. 바는 우리 직원들인 바텐더들이 있기 때문에, 난 거의 신경을 안쓴다. 주류 재고와 돈만 챙긴다. ㅎ. 좌간, 내가 지금 주력하고 있는 레스토랑에 별일이 없고 해서,. 며칠부터 마음이 내킨 김에. 가서 지프를 샀다. 이곳의 클라이슬러 매장 주차장에 얌전히 flurry를 맞으며 서있는 녀석은 근질 근질해 보였다. 갖혀진 야생마 처럼. 녀석의 어쩔 수 없는 야성은 내겐 잘 보인다. 사하라야 이젠 너도 몸을 제대로 풀 수 있을거야. 기대하렴. 시내 중심에 위치한 주정부 에서 운영하는 차량 등록소에서 번호판을 그 자리에서 받았는데 보험료가 포함되어 있다,. 일년에 1,200 불 정도. 그 바로 앞에 내 호텔이 있다. 축하드립니다. 애마는 이미 충...
