But the moisture will do us good here in this desert. Getting ready to plant our garden once more and enjoy fresh salsa all summer. Easter was a fun filled day for our little chickadees as you can see. Woke up to lots of snow that morning so the wacky wabbit had to get creative! Allison got her first real haircut!

Rob and Jan Oliver. Saturday, July 2, 2011. We took a little trip to Agate Fossil Beds National Monument today. It was pretty fun. Here are a few pictures. The corkscrew structure is a fossilized burrow of an ancient prairie dog like creature. Nature is so crazy. Corkscrew praire dogs, whooda thunk! July 3, 2011 at 1:26 PM. Rob and Jan Oliver. Saturday, July 9, 2011. We went to the monument today and took the long hike to the top. It provided many wonderful views and was fun to walk out in the sun. It also was warm, but not hot. Here are a few photos of the adventure. Cant call it a mountain, but it is a good sized bluff. We would love to hike this with you when we make it out there. We're so happy we finally got to Disneyland as a family for the first time! We went Thanksgiving week as a surprise for the kids. They had no clue. They didn't even know we were going to Cali. I had their bags packed and hidden away. They were wondering whose car was parked out front (the rental).then, bam. We're going to California right now so wake up!

She's just showing me her new talent which totally freaked my out to watch but I had to just bite my tongue and not say anything.
