Thoughts, Musings & Mutterings: Big Lunch Street Party.
http://peterwallisonline.blogspot.com/2010/07/big-lunch-street-party.html
Thoughts, Musings and Mutterings. Monday, 19 July 2010. Big Lunch Street Party. The world is going street party mad, as a way for communities to bond and try to gain/regain a sense of unity - similar to the way things used to be, "in the good old days". One of the people where I live decided to organise a street party, taking advantage of the national Big Lunch event being organised for 18jul2010, and have the neighbours round to share drinks and have a chat. Until next time,. London, United Kingdom.

Thoughts, Musings & Mutterings: February 2010
http://peterwallisonline.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thoughts, Musings and Mutterings. Monday, 15 February 2010. A lovely Valentines, wandering around Oxford with my dearly beloved. An interesting town with lots to see - looks more modern that Cambridge, with it's no cars rule and narrow streets. Whilst there, we visited the Steampunk exhibition at the Museum of the History of Science. Amazing pieces of brass and wood technology from an alternative time. It was only a small steampunk exhibition, but I definitely whet my creative and inspirational juices!

Thoughts, Musings & Mutterings: April 2011
http://peterwallisonline.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thoughts, Musings and Mutterings. Saturday, 30 April 2011. Dr Who, Series 6. A new series of Dr Who graced our tv screens. And we're faced with the real death of the Dr, a whole new race of evil aliens that have been manipulating Human history, Amy Pond being pregnant and not being being pregnant, the meeting of the Dr and Prof River Song, and a regenerating little girl. A scary story with lots going on, but I'm just a little concerned that it's trying to be too clever and might end up with a mess.

Thoughts, Musings & Mutterings: June 2010
http://peterwallisonline.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Thoughts, Musings and Mutterings. Monday, 14 June 2010. Packing like a mad thing, so I can go on holiday tomorrow. It's all exciting and I'm looking forward to taking photos [with my new 18-200mm lens], trying new foods and doing lots of walking. This is usually the time when I realise I have lots of clothes that I want to take, but they all need washing! It's amazing how much of what I take on holiday is tech orientated - camera, laptop, phone, chargers, adapters, cases, memory cards, etc. It's quite st...

Thoughts, Musings & Mutterings: Lyme Regis.
http://peterwallisonline.blogspot.com/2011/05/lyme-regis.html
Thoughts, Musings and Mutterings. Monday, 2 May 2011. Just back from a lovely few days in Lyme Regis, a place I've never been to before. Accommodation was the lovely. Literally minutes from the sea and better than I expected. I took lots of photos, walked along the beach in both directions, enjoyed watching lots of the visiting dogs, ate some nice food, met some nice people, and enjoyed some glorious weather. Definitely worth visiting and definitely on my list of places to visit again. Until next time,.

Thoughts, Musings & Mutterings: May 2010
http://peterwallisonline.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Thoughts, Musings and Mutterings. Tuesday, 25 May 2010. Well, jury service is ongoing and still interesting - even if it means a lot of sitting around waiting for things to happen. I'm off on holiday in a few weeks, so I decided to get a new lens for my lovely Nikon D40x. I was planning on a 18-135mm lens for general use, but settled on a 10-200mm lens so I don't have to carry several lenses. I ordered on Sunday and t was delivered today! Now I remember why I delayed getting a new lens! Links to this post.
