Analysis of Peak Hour Evening Commute. Animation studying passing Metro North trains during peak hour times of the evening commute. During a daily commute, a dislocation or alternate reality can be created when trains pass one another. The passenger tends to gaze upon the passing landscape through the frame of the train. When this gaze is interrupted, the viewer finds themselves in an alternate condition of dislocation. Green boxes flash when trains traveling in opposite directions pass one another.
