Feel free to comment on my posts. 180;・ω・). 金曜日は友人のライブ演奏を応援しに、ポートランドまで行ってきました。かつては何かの製造業に使われていた歴史的建物を仕切って、ブティックやら、おしゃれなビジネスやらが展開する、いかにもポートランド、っていう感じの場所です。その中に入っているカフェでのライブですから、ワインとホットサンドなどを注文して、ソファーに座りながら、音楽を楽しみました。 もう市民ではないんだけど、こうして仕事の後に訪ねたりすると、まだポートランドも遠くないぞ、と思います。ポートランドは相変わらずヒップな街として、注目されてるみたいですね。私もこの街のこじんまり感とユニークな面白さが、気に入っています。 イタリアからカナダのおばさんを訪ねた後、ポートランドにギター職人のエリオットさんをインタビューしに来られた、ルチアノとビアタのカップルです。ポートランド滞在中はうちに泊まっていただきました。 September Sky by Zisa and Vossen.

Feel free to comment on my posts. 180;・ω・). これはもう９月にあったイベントなんですが、フォートバンクーバーの楽しい催しのひとつです。開拓時代の生活を再現して、村がそれぞれの場所で機能した様子をみせてくれます。この辺りは昔、ビーバーなどの毛皮の取引で賑わったようです。 柳井の白壁の街に、むろやの園というのがありますが、かつて商取引で栄えたという点で、商家と生活共同体というレベルは違っても、保存資料としてはどこか共通するものがあります。 September Sky by Zisa and Vossen.

From Darkness to Light. これはPortlandのダウンタウンで撮ったいくつかの歴史的建造物。昨日のお家の話に関連して、続けましょう。 私は古いお家も好きで、よく観察してます。個人的な意見だけど、古いお家で難しいのは、まずお隣が壊されて、しょうもないアパートなんかが建てられてしまう例。一気に価値が下がり、雰囲気も悪くなります。 １００年経つうちに土地開拓が進んで、ドアを開けたら目の前が高速道路になってしまった、悲しい例。 それから、買い手がついたのはいいけど、その人の趣味が悪く、変に改装されてしまった例。その上、持ち主が手入れを諦めて家が見捨てられている状況。 近所の家が、この辺の普通の家の３倍くらいの値段で売りに出されていた。そんな値段で売れるわけない、何考えとるん、などと言っていたら、ひやかしでお家を見に行った時には既に買い手がついていた。担当の不動産屋さん...しかし、その野菜の中に、なんと、&#...同僚に誘われて、Cap...

Beach Trip on July 4th. 子供達だけ田舎に帰省し、帰りは台風に追いかけながらも無事こちらに戻ったところです。山口の家族、親戚、友達、みんなに本当にお世話になりました。みなさんも機会がゆるせば是非、こちらにも遊びにきて下さい。 写真でみる山口や広島の懐かしい景色です。あまり変わってないところもあり、うれしいですね。何もかも新しくならなくても、昔から変わらないものが残っていくのは、いいことです。そういう面がなかったら伝統は廃れていくものだから。 September Sky by Zisa and Vossen.
