petey and lars: one more baby blanket
http://peteyandlars.blogspot.com/2011/01/one-more-baby-blanket.html
Kicks, giggles, pretty things. Thursday, January 13, 2011. One more baby blanket. Ok I found the baby blanket to end all baby blankets. (Warning: the following image might cause your ovaries to explode. View at your own risk.). Double-sided knit monkey goodness. And check out those simian faces - some are winking, or sleeping, or puckering up. The mind boggles. Now I'm going to go google cute baby animals. Last night. I think I may have had Peter a tad bit concerned. January 14, 2011 at 6:13 PM. That is ...
petey and lars: from The Novelist
http://peteyandlars.blogspot.com/2010/02/from-novelist.html
Kicks, giggles, pretty things. Monday, February 15, 2010. It turns out February's been rough on my blog. I started a crazy challenge. Although it's taken a toll on my blogging. Sorry about that. Words are pretty much leaking out my ears by the end of the day and they won't seem to stay on the computer screen. I sure am thinking about books, though. These book cover postcards. I covet this anthropologie book wallpaper. Here's a lovely book box. To hide treasures in. And, for reading, a new favorite.
petey and lars: valentine jewelry
http://peteyandlars.blogspot.com/2010/01/valentine-jewelry.html
Kicks, giggles, pretty things. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Valentine's Day cards; now for jewelry! As Mae West said, "I have always felt a gift diamond shines so much better than one you buy for yourself.". Loving Naomi Murrell's cheery necklace. I'm on a big wood pendant kick. Are crazy romantic; is it the " gather ye rosebuds while ye may. My favorite color combo, and people! That's velvet frigging ribbon! Are fantastic. And girls love sparklies. January 26, 2010 at 6:37 PM. Awesome finds, as always!
petey and lars: rope jewelry
http://peteyandlars.blogspot.com/2010/01/rope-jewelry.html
Kicks, giggles, pretty things. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. S on my mind. I'm tardy to the rope party, but found these great pieces I wanted to share anyway. For $230, Sabrina Dehoff has this divine 4- strand rope. Here's a great necklace. From Munted Kowhai (though I would probably change the necklace's name). I bought earrings. From this store and love them. The necklace is only $35. A must-read blog, had a post. Today about wonderful The Vamoose. This knotty nautical bauble. And they're only $4 a pop.

http://peteyandlars.blogspot.com/2012/03/practical-spirituality-lewis-and-lengle.html
Kicks, giggles, pretty things. Monday, March 5, 2012. Practical Spirituality: Lewis and L'Engle. OK, I've read a bunch of loooong dry books lately and needed some tried-and-trues, preferably under 300 pages. So I reread some of my very favorite books on, well, not spirituality exactly, but on applied spirituality. They're how-to guides with practical tips of living a good, a morally good, life, and the rewards of that kind of life. One of my all-time favorite books (top five? What I especially love/am te...

Facing fear #1: I can't stop counting all the security cameras that are on every street. And my sister, Laura, told me this horrify little fact that people in London are watched on average by 300 cameras a day. Here's a freaky article about it http:/ www.newstatesman.com/200610020022 (sorry, I can't figure out the link thing right now). Thursday, Aug...
Mender Family: September 2013
http://menderfamily.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 22, 2013. Madison, WI Capital Building. After a week of stuffing everything I could into my small brain we left after sessions on Thursday and went to visit the state capital in Madison. I think it is the most amazing state capital I've ever visited for the beauty of the building and the various types of stone used to construct the building.I think it might even trump the Capital Building in Washington, D.C. for it's beauty. An approach from the west. Sunday, September 8, 2013. From the...

Saturday, July 27, 2013. It is nice that they can finally begin life in a NON apartment since Adelynne starts school this year and the stability of a home of your own is a part of our dreams. So as I was thinking about what we could give them as a house warming present I found the following Irish Proverb."May your Home always be too small to hold all of your friends". I thought how absolutely perfect! It made me reflect back on our life and our home realize we have enjoyed this blessing!

Petey and Ellie Live Here. Oh yeah and so do Sam, Casey, Laina, Elijah, and Austin…and Lemon. We ventured out to Great County Farms over the weekend with some friends–here are a few pics! Love these kids to pieces. The Wonders Never Cease. One of my favorite things about life is when I’m reminded by our children how much they just “get it”. This and That in G-ville
This and That in G-ville. Monday, December 6, 2010. What can I say about the 2010 Football season for the Grantsville Mity Mite's? Hmmmm Fun, but not a winning season. The best part for me was when I was able to pick up Grandma Walker and take her to the Park City game with me. Which we won by 2 points. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. It's Not All Doom and Gloom. Super League, Little League and All-Stars and for Maddie's girls softball and All-Stars. I think they both had a blast playing a lot. Playing cent...

Friday, August 22, 2014. Can you believe we are a family of six? Neither can I. Little Gracie Virginia made her big debut June 13. It was Peter's and mine anniversary, and I was a little selfish and didn't want to share our anniversary with a child's birthday, but it turned out to be a perfect gift for us and the perfect testament of our love and commitment to each other. Friday following my due date (five days overdue) I was really uncomfortable. Just achy and crampy all day and throughout the night...

The Cooks: Petey and Kristin
Monday, October 6, 2014. Back in September Petey and I decided to take advantage of the long Labor Day weekend and head to Louisiana. New Orleans is only a 5.5 hour drive from Houston and we had both been wanting to go for a while. Petey had that Friday off of work, which made this trip even better! Our first day we drove to Baton Rouge and stayed the night. We visited Louisiana State University's campus. LSU's campus is GORGEOUS! Driving through the Atchafalaya Basin. Football stadium in the NCAA. On Sa...

And i love the fall out boys. / / BOTM. MTV uploaded an HD version of Fall Out Boy’s first VMA win. Unfortunately they cut out the hug with Gerard Way. Peter "Petey" Andrews | Composer · Performer · Instructor
I got very lucky when it came to talent-encouraging parents and encyclopedically brilliant teachers. All of this adds up to a lifetime’s worth of understanding and playing American Roots music as well as American Popular music, and a master education in blending with other top-notch players — as I did recently while serving as bandleader for Tammy Lang’s.
