Le Petit Déjeuner. Recent Comments from Visitors. I've eaten here once about 5 years ago and it was great! I went back about 5 years later. Still great! Excellent and the belgium waffles are the real thing. Had the eggs benny and eggs benjamin. Both were excellent, probably the best we've ever had. The hollandaise sauce tasted like it had a citrus flavour a little like a lemon twist that made it very refreshing. We will definitely be back. Friendly service as well :). In all the craziness of packing up and clearing out of City of Craft back in December, I didn't get a chance to pick up a few things from Deadweight. As I had planned. So, Sandi and I got together recently to do a post City of Craft exchange. Fun times ensued. Toronto: Le Petit Déjeuner. So today I went to Le Petit Déjeuner. Where this restaurant really shines is with the dessert. The mousse is delicious (though I think the chunks of chocolate in it were a tiny bit too sweet), and HOLY FUCK, THE WAFFLES, perfect crunchiness and flavour. No wonder why the brunch is so popular.
