My Dad had two nice Basil plants this summer which produced a LOT of leaves, but by yesterday the plant was quite sad, and was ready to be tossed… However, there were still a number of leaves on the plant so we thought, why not try to squeeze out a little more basil as a nice close to summer. Still has the Basil element, but definitely takes it up a notch with the Pepper. 8 cups Fresh Basil Leaves.

Congratulations to T.J.'s sister Megan and her husband Will. Declan. Is such a pretty baby. He has the exact hair line that both of my girls were born with. I say it's a widows peak, T.J. says it's a double cowlick, one on both sides. Whichever, I think it's adorable! Here are some photos that we received. Of the new little man and his mommy.

Wednesday, March 24, 2010. St Patrick's Day Playdate. Last Tuesday, the day before St. Patrick's Day, we had a special Spring Break play date at our house. We had such a fun time, had a good turn out, and the weather was perfect. The kids played, we cut and colored a little leprechaun and made a puppet out of him with paper bags, went hunting for "Lucky the Leprechaun", and then frosted green shamrock sugar cookies. It was a blast! Maybe we'll find him next year. Thank you to everyone that came!

Thursday, May 7, 2009. Trista has learned how to lock her bedroom door. Not such a big deal, when she's inside of it. She locked the door and closed it from outside yesterday afternoon to, "keep her chapsticks. Safe" She was sad that she couldn't play in her room and that she would have to wait for Daddy to come home to unlock the door. Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Trista Makes Me Laugh. Trista has been making me laugh so much lately with some of the things that she says. My sister Christi moved to Tucson a few months ago, and asked Trista last week when we are going to come down and visit her. Trista said, "Well, I'll see what I can do, but my mom drives.". I watched The Sound of Music with her on Sunday night, and she has been singing "I am 16, going on 17, and I'm really sweet" for two days. She is singing it right now. What a funny girl!
