Most of my pieces are one-of-a-kind, constructed in precious metals such as 18kt gold, sterling silver, or a mix of both materials. At times I add gemstones as an accent. The shapes of my designs are simple and often geometric. One line might split a surface in two parts to give it tension. The mix of different textures plays an important role; polished areas interchange with matte surfaces.

I believe good design, craftmanship. And wearability are the three pillars of a strong piece of jewellery. What would one be without the other? My traditional training in a Swiss goldsmith studio, my European background, and an open mind to new things, are definitely reflected in my jewellery. In the end, it is the simplicity of a piece that fascinates me the most, and that is what I strive to achieve.

Es ist spannend, ein Schmuckstück langsam wachsen zu sehen. Alles, von der ersten bis zur letzten Einzelheit liegt in meinen Händen. Die Möglichkeiten sind grenzenlos. In meiner Arbeit ist es mir wichtig, dass Qualität, Design/Gestaltung und Funktion stimmen. Ein Schmuckstück soll tragbar sein und die Leidenschaft wecken, sich damit schmücken zu wollen. Ich versuche mit dem Minimum von Elementen eine grosse Wirkung zu erzielen. In der Schlichtheit liegt die Schönheit.
