The Muddle in the Middle: Thoughts on Missionary Work
http://themuddleinthemiddle.blogspot.com/2013/06/thoughts-on-missionary-work.html
The Muddle in the Middle. Monday, June 3, 2013. Thoughts on Missionary Work. Sorry for the long leave of absence.is anyone still out there? I decided to try writing again because I love it and miss it. And then our daughter. And then another son. And then probably a son or daughter every few years for a long time. That thought makes me so sad, and I have wondered how I will be able to do it. To be perfectly honest, I started to feel pretty sorry for myself over the whole situation. Where can we help?

The Muddle in the Middle: October 2011
http://themuddleinthemiddle.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
The Muddle in the Middle. Friday, October 7, 2011. Redfern twins and the bother of parenting. Today, my oldest niece gave birth to twin baby boys. The text came in around 6 am telling us that Albus and Jimmer were here. My husband's reaction: "Jimmer? The next text came several minutes later. "Just kidding. We couldn't resist." They really named the boys Christian and Connor. 6 lb. 4 oz and 5 lb 14 oz, respectively, mother and babies all doing well. Life is so much more fun and sweet and full because, 17...

The Muddle in the Middle: June 2011
http://themuddleinthemiddle.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
The Muddle in the Middle. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Long suffering- even during summer vacation. For the past week and a half since school got out, I have found myself getting more and more snippety every day. I think it’s having so many bodies home again all the time. It’s that many more children leaving messes and dragging their feet about breakfast chores. It’s that many more people making food, again, and leaving their 3rd cup on the counter, half-way full of milk. Then I read this scripture. 1 Neph...

The Muddle in the Middle: May 2011
http://themuddleinthemiddle.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
The Muddle in the Middle. Monday, May 23, 2011. Another Lesson about Mercy. Last week, I was studying the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15. I noticed while studying it that both the prodigal son and the older, righteous brother feel that the sins of the younger son are so great that he doesn't deserve any mercy. I recognized from this parable my inclination to think that we need to 'deserve' mercy and earn it, rather than be given it as a gift from a loving Heavenly Father and His Son. It was very cl...

Saturday, May 15, 2010. The Colors of Spring. I have no photography skills but decided to take pictures of things I saw that made me pause and thank Him. What a wonderful world we live in, if only we'd stop and take the time to notice it. Posted by Morris Moments. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Great family, great friends - need I say more? The Muddle in the Middle: Hard
http://themuddleinthemiddle.blogspot.com/2013/07/hard.html
The Muddle in the Middle. Friday, July 12, 2013. From June of 1990 until December of 1991, I served an LDS mission in southern France (similar geographical location to where Jacob will be). That was 23 years ago. I remember a lot of things I loved about France. I could go on and on. But my biggest memory of missionary work in France. Is full of her cute personality. (She could be Katie's companion! She could be Katie's trainer. Blog post and this. In hindsight, I am so grateful I served a mission for so ...

Gracie of Greenbriar: What the Hail is going on? We missed Grampa's and Mommy's birthdays!
http://gracieofgreenbriar.blogspot.com/2015/03/what-hail-is-going-on-we-missed-grampas.html
Sunday, March 1, 2015. What the Hail is going on? We missed Grampa's and Mommy's birthdays! Dadda is not a good photographer. Today Gracie played in a hail storm. It really wasn't much of a storm, small pea sized hail. She was excited to play with her Frozen doll out in the hail. Many of her neighbors were out on their porches to watch the hail come down. It does not hail much around here. Mommy I have a gift for you. 9834;♪Happy Birthday to you,♪♪. 9834;♪Happy Birthday to you,♪♪. March 2, 2015 at 8:03 AM.

Morris Moments: Challenges
http://davidandjillmorris.blogspot.com/2010/10/challenges.html
Sunday, October 10, 2010. There is a line in a song I recently heard that says, "If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans." Since I plan ahead for almost everything, I'm pretty sure my life has kept the good Lord in stitches. So as David likes to say, "Bring it on Buttercup! Posted by Morris Moments. The Adventures of Holly Mo: March 2011

Sunday, March 13, 2011. Week 1 - CHECK! I can hardly believe that I have already been in the schools for a whole week already. I SURVIVED! I love working in an actual classroom with second graders. I don't always love those second graders. but I love the experience I am getting and how much I am learning as I get to actually put my knowledge into practice. Practicum = Practice. And I am starting to really understand that. Posted by Holly Mo. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Week 1 - CHECK! This is the one :).
