I camped, hiked, sledded, fished, jibbed, wakeboarded, biked, and drank plenty within its vicinity. When I first heard Fleet Feet set up a race in its region, I shuddered. The August heat? I avoided it, even if it held some nostalgic promise. But the early arrival of my son quashed those plans. Here's a rundown of my experience this year.
