Amateur deep space astrophotography. What do you need? I recommend to calibrate your monitor using the picture at the bottom of this page. You have some wonderful fotos. I especially like NGC 253 which is hard to see from Arizona. Im impressed, too, with your Jupiter images and how well focused the jovian moon is. ¡Quisiera que pueda hacerlo! Mil grácias. Will (QCUIAG). February 22, 2011 at 6:18 PM. The last to photos are by far my favorites. November 10, 2011 at 3:35 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Astrophotography: What do you need?
http://www.astrophotography.me/2008/10/que-se-necesita.html
Amateur deep space astrophotography. What do you need? What do you need? The minimum equipment needed for deep space astrophotography consists of a telescope with driver for sky tracking and a digital camera capable of taking long exposure photographs (15 seconds or more). The telescope can be reflector, refractor or catadioptric, but it is important to have large aperture (114 mm or more) and low focal length (900 mm or less). The mount should have sky tracking capability to compensate for the apparent ...

Astrophotography: DIY Light Box Construction
http://www.astrophotography.me/2009/07/construccion-de-caja-iluminada.html
Amateur deep space astrophotography. What do you need? DIY Light Box Construction. I have finally built my light box. I spent a total amount of $4. I started buying some very cheap white LED lights (3 lights for four dollars) and got a translucent white folder. In this picture you can see two of the lights and the folder. I also used an old biscuits can and a shoe box. The diameter of the biscuit can is slightly higher than the outside diameter of the tube of my telescope, so it fits like a cap. In front...

Astrophotography: Image post processing
http://www.astrophotography.me/2008/10/post-procesamiento-de-imagenes.html
Amateur deep space astrophotography. What do you need? The combined image must be processed to adjust color, enhance detail and adjust brightness levels of the different areas of the image. Galaxies and nebulae often have large brightness variations that make it impossible to see details in light and dark areas in the same picture if it is not proper processed. For this post processing software such as Photoshop, pixinsight, MaxIm DL or Registax are often used. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Red de ...
