My Old Country Home: Pay Phone
http://myoldcountryhome.blogspot.com/2012/07/pay-phone.html
My Old Country Home. Wednesday, July 18, 2012. My nephew and I were talking the other day about driving places and his fear of driving in large towns. I told him to drive in larger towns and/or cities anytime anyone would let me while he's still learning and it'll not be as 'scary' the first time he does it by himself. Nephew: why didn't you just call from the car? Me: I didn't have a phone (which got a suprised look from him) so I had to stop at a gas station and use a pay phone. Wednesday, July 18, 2012.

My Old Country Home: October 2010
http://myoldcountryhome.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
My Old Country Home. Thursday, October 28, 2010. When I purchased my home, it had these ever so lovely acoustical 12" spongy ceiling tiles in the entire house. If you've driven by my house you've probably seen these tiles neatly stacked up at the end of the driveway waiting for the trash man to pick up. You wouldn't believe how many 'locals' have commented on the neat piles of the ceiling tiles (that would be my father who neatly stacked them up). Johnathon just LOVED taking the nails out of the ceiling!
