วันจันทร์ที่ 30 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2550. Tell them to watch more Yan Can Cook. See how the man handles his cleaver. Having said that, I will offer this recipe with the caveat that it is quick n' easy to make, but if you're slow at wielding your knife, the preparation work may slow you down. But hey, it's a nice dish that's a change from the hot n' spicy Thai stir-fries I'm so fond of. I know Swati. Wants this recipe really bad after she had dinner at Shiok. This is a real photo of what it looks like:. What fol...

Altfunction: corporate responsibility. media. technology. creativity. We're sorry to interrupt this blog. But altfunction may undergo a brief hiatus over the next few weeks. I've left Forum for the Future. And tomorrow start at KPMG. Working in the ICE Advisory team, advising the media, technology and leisure sectors on CSR and more. Not a huge change in subject area from what I've been doing with Forum, but there will be cultural and procedural differences. May 22, 2005 in About. Blogging: tool or ethic?

hardtack at sea: June 2006
http://hardtackatsea.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Landlubber musings. Local food culture. Culinary adventures. Occasional neuroses. Tuesday, June 27. Meet the Marlboro Man, aka Tony Bourdain. He doesn't have a cowboy hat and he's way cruder than the iconic billboard figure we're familiar with. But I bet that cowboy never really chain smoked those coffin nails, unapologetically, quite the way Bourdain does. I shouldn't be telling you this, but I smoked one of his Marlboros the other night. But first I stole it. I sure don't know. My buddy and pastry chef...

Landlubber musings. Local food culture. Culinary adventures. Occasional neuroses. Tuesday, September 26. I remember hearing my fellow blogistas tell me that they loved the writing but hated the pressure of having to produce all the time. That their readers would start whining if more than a week went by without a post. I, on the other hand, have resisted all pressure from my 4 readers and have produced nary a word in over 2 months. I apologize. Is it now excuse time? Posted by Chef @ 1:06 PM.

Landlubber musings. Local food culture. Culinary adventures. Occasional neuroses. Sunday, October 8. Something Old, Something New. I want to take a second in between my posts of my Europe trip from last October and slip in some news from now. Pastry Chef Dana. Cree (Bickford) and I are teaming up to prepare a 12 course menu October 22nd for Gypsy. I am terribly excited not only about the opportunity to create and execute a Gypsy. Parmesan and buttered leeks. Apple ice cream, parsnip chips.

thought for food: fruit salad omelette
http://mythoughtforfood.blogspot.com/2008/03/fruit-salad-omelette.html
A psychologist a chef = thought for food. Sunday, 2 March 2008. There are so many pregnancy books out there - and for this I am glad. There is a wealth of information out there to explain all the ins and outs of your inner bits. Just wait until water melon makes an appearance! I hope you are feeling well? If you suffer morning sickness, eat a plain bicuit or dry cracker before you get out of bed. That should help. 3 March 2008 at 22:06. The watermelon comment made me laugh :). 4 March 2008 at 16:34.

A psychologist a chef = thought for food. Monday, 14 January 2008. I love the Dutch. Is it strange that as an Australian I feel more at home here in the Netherlands, where I speak very little of the language, than I do in England where I have lived for four years and have a partner and a house? Interesting that you don't feel drawn to Americans - I'm always drawn to the French and Scandinavians and I'm Welsh! Looking forward to hearing what you get up to over there. 19 January 2008 at 11:57. View my comp...

thought for food: new blog
http://mythoughtforfood.blogspot.com/2007/12/first-post.html
A psychologist a chef = thought for food. Monday, 17 December 2007. Mmmmm, so I now have my own blog. I never thought that I would be the sort of person to blog. I never really had a diary as an angst-ridden teenager, I'm not sure who would be intrested in my musings, I've always been a high self-monitorer, and to be honest (now), I always worried too much about what someone reading it might think - so, and attempts at diaries were never entirely honest.
