Try as I might I could not escape the fact that God was telling me that I needed to reach out to the people in these drinking establishments and tell them about Jesus. I had heard a direct call of God one other time in my life and refused to do what God was telling me for a year. It was the most miserable year of my life! We chased a few rabbits here and there, but I must admit that those moments were some of the best. Relationships are being built and I had the opportunity to share truth and also to hear the views of others. I love these kind of opportunities as they do much to strengthen my beliefs about my God.
