A Look Back - my Breast Cancer Journal. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US! Friday, May 2, 2008. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US! Well, it's been a whole 6 years. I can't believe it - so much has happened in that short time. However, God has helped us weather the storms that have come along, and here we are - celebrating our 6th Wedding Anniversary. This evening, I decided to surprise Philip with a romantic dinner. What was on the menu? Several of Philip's favorite dishes. Grilled Steak with Chipotle Gorgonzola Cream Sauce.

My parents were able to join us here in DFW this Christmas . . . and I believe all had a good time- here are some pictures: (click on pic to enlarge). Damon received some games for his PSP. Pappy received a digital picture frame. Damon purchased some pearl earrings for Christy. Damon picked out a Cowboy's blanket for "Pop". Meme got a pretty Christmas sweater that Damon picked out! A Look Back - my Breast Cancer Journal. Just a Quick Note. Friday F.U.N at Church. Saturday, December 27, 2008. Our Christmas Eve festivities traditionally include going to Christmas Eve service at church, then heading over to Philip's "step" brother-in-law's home for a family get together. Everyone brings food and gifts for a gift exchange. . . it can usually get pretty interesting around there, to say the least! Irene opened a Trivial Pursuit game. And Caitlyn received a couple of puppets.

Ok - Damon went to his Dad's house on a Friday for visitation. Well, they were at the courts playing Tennis when Damon tripped and fell. He twisted and hit the outside of his ankle up against the pole that holds the net AND he hit the back of his head on the concrete when he fell. (This was Friday night).
