Preparing noise makers and toasting New Years. The Olympic Torch arrives in time for the games to begin. The much anticipated Medal Ceremony! Birthday's and then to Wings and Waves water park in McMinnville. Stopped at Alf's where I was a frequent customer, especially their home made ice cream, in 1989-1990 when I worked in McMinnville.

Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Wow - I can't believe our last post was for the 4th of July this year of 2014! We've done so many fun things since then. I guess what we'll try and do is post once a month with all the pictures we want to share! There are several major activities highlighted below in pictures: 1) trip to North Carolina in July to spend time with Zac, Joy and family and let them take a 2 day trip without the kids! Sunday, December 22, 2013. This past Friday night we had our annual caroling party that was started 23 years ago with the Stucki's, Cramer's and Turner's. Now we often hold the event at the home of the one of the children that walked with us those many years ago! Megan, Jeremy and their 5 children came up this year and it was great to have them with us - forgot the camera so no pictures of Friday night but Saturday we went to the new Hands-On Children's Museum and had a great time, as you can see. Saturday, September 28, 2013. Last night the Shakespear family paid us a visit - Megan and Jeremy dropped the kids off and went to Bellevue - we took the 5 kids to the church for a ward potluck and then to clean the building! We had a great time - today during a torrential rain storm we drove to Seattle and enjoyed a Seattle Mariner baseball game together. It was so fun - 3 home runs from the Mariners, including a grand slam - and a victory for the home team. We really had a great time!

Sunday, February 2, 2014. We spent a wonderful weekend in Oregon with Megan and Jeremy and their family - Jeremy's folks came in from Houston and Brigg and Havalah drove over from the Portland area - what a great time we had together. We started Friday night at the first cub scout activity for Hyrum - the Pinewood Derby! Thursday, April 25, 2013. Priest Laurel Missionary Activity. Saturday, April 20, 2013. Some of the fun decorations. With a couple of young ladies from our ward - Katie and Isabella. Sunday, July 6, 2014. July 4, 2014 on Oregon Coast. We enjoyed a wonderful 4th of July on the Oregon Coast with Megan, Jeremy and their family! We spent lots of time riding bikes, playing baseball, having a breakfast at the church, participating in a parade in the little town of Gearhart, and a couple of days at the beach. What a delightful time we all enjoyed. We even fit in an early birthday for Pa - since he only has them every so often! Thanks to Hunter for his many streamers! Joel and Darci Wilson.
