Living on the Sunshine Coast. An Englishman adjusting to life down under. From U.K. to Australia. Neither of us realised at first, but we arrived in Adelaide on January 26, 2007 – Australia Day. Our first view of Australia – Adelaide from our plane seat:. Here is a picture taken from our room:. By now, two thoughts had become clear in our minds; first, we loved the area we were living in and second, we did not envisage returning to the U.K! This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Living on the Sunshine Coast. An Englishman adjusting to life down under. This is my first venture into Blogland, so any readers should be very gentle with their criticism! I chose to use WordPress owing to its’ supposed “simplicity and flexibility”, but if my first experience is anything to judge by, I should definitely avoid any more complicated and/or creative sites. Now I’ve got the facebook link to work, all that remains for me to do is to think of some interesting topics to blog.

Martin's French Blog. Life in the French countryside. Posted by Martin Pooley. In Just a thought. Asymp; 3 Comments. A good friend of mine in California who used to be a senior flight attendant with a charter airline and who is familiar with my career in aviation, a career that included 20 years as a Loadmaster with an American cargo airline where I had a close-up view of cockpit dynamics, asked me the other day what is it that I thought could drive a pilot to commit suicide and take all on board with him.
