Carly Marie Photography: December 2011
http://cmp92.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 8, 2011. Artist Lecture: Joan Marie Kelly. Joan Marie Kelly's artwork is really interesting and I like how she's breaking out of the norm by working in Brothels. I enjoyed this lecture and I'm glad she took time to come out to UNH and speak to us. 171; Older Posts. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 22 Student. UNH. 603- born and raised. View my complete profile. Carly Marie Photography: May 2011
http://cmp92.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Blogger wouldn't let me upload one of my other pictures and I'm sure why. but perhaps I'll try again later. However, I was very happy with the way these panoramic pictures came out and I was pleased with the response they received on Tuesday. Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Art Break Lecture #2. Overall, I enjoyed all three of these BFA students' talks about their work in the past year and I definitely could see growth and change within all the pieces they chose to show us. 171; Older Posts.

Carly Marie Photography: November 2011

Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Still Life: Project #3. Shift of View: Project #2. For this project we were working with the different camera movements on the monorail camera. I enjoyed this project partly because I found out that the camera I bought does all the movements which increases it's value, not only in this course but in my future work with photography. Carly Marie Photography: Currier Museum Visit
http://cmp92.blogspot.com/2012/04/currier-museum-visit.html
Monday, April 2, 2012. On Thursday we visited the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester to see the exhibit: A New Vision: Modernist Photography. Although, our visit was interrupted by a fire alarm, I was able to have enough time in the museum to study the photographs in the new exhibit. There were plenty of photographers that I recognized however there were a few that I enjoyed more than others. The two photographs that I'm choosing to compare and contrast are:. Alfred G. Buckham's "Edinburgh".

Give the Bird to the Rule of Thirds | Bret Edge Photography
https://bretedge.wordpress.com/2010/06/07/give-the-bird-to-the-rule-of-thirds
Give the Bird to the Rule of Thirds. June 7, 2010. Back when I was a newbie photographer I obsessed over the rule of thirds. Never would I compose an image with the main subject smack dab in the middle of the frame. Blasphemy! But here’s the thing: the rule of thirds is a guideline, a suggestion. It is not an absolute. When is the right time to give the rule of thirds the bird and create a centered composition? Take a look at the two images in this post. What do you think of the compositions? If so, why?
