She is the same age as Marcus and they get along so well, and of course Astrid loves having another girl to play with all day. Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Can you believe it? I'm a little late on posting, but this past Friday we celebrated her first birthday! Read more about a year ago here! We had an ice cream social and grilled hot dogs at the park. It was a total blast. Doesn't she look just SO excited it's her birthday? We had hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad. Thursday, December 29, 2011. Our Big Fat Georgian Adventure: Day 6. Yesterday we drive from Tulsa, OK to Birmingham, AL. It was MUCH better than Our drive from Denver to Tulsa. That drive was brown, flat, and ugly. This one was beautiful! Arkansas is such a beautiful state, an we drove it for most of the day. It was so sad though to see all of the crops still flooded and underwater from this year's late spring flooding. We drive until Birmingham, AL where we stopped at a pretty nice hotel (for 100/night!

Monday, June 25, 2012. Slacker-Mom Tip of the Day. Yesterday Marcus and I were running late to church. I had about 30 minutes to get us dressed and ready before we had to leave. Of course, Marcus' church clothes were in the laundry and his one clean shirt had not been ironed yet. (! Anyway, here is my in-a-pinch tip.
