Das in Wien entstandene Sextett Gnigler ist in erster Linien eine Improvisationsband. Trotzdem, und das ist der Grund warum es diese Band überhaupt gibt, bilden Kompositionen, die nicht immer dem Jazz zuzuordnen sind, sondern eher in Richtung neue Musik gehen, das Ausgangsmaterial der Improvisationen. Kompositionen, die als musikalische Studien durchgehen können, und sich somit in eine gewisse musikalische Tradition des Jazz einreihen. Aktueller Tonträger: Gnigler , erschienen 2014 bei Listen Closely.
