Since then I have trained as a mechanical engineer to understand all types of metal working, from lathe and milling machining, to hand fitting and heat treatment. I then worked towards completing a four-year apprenticeship as a gunsmith, which I completed over two years ago and have continued to work as a gunsmith until the present day. I currently shoot both shotguns and rifles regularly and I believe this gives me a real advantage, as I understand the needs of shooters.
