2010: V-day Relays
http://stacybirk10.blogspot.com/2010/02/v-day-relays.html
Sunday, February 14, 2010. Tournament cancellation and snow calls for some Valentines Day fun! Not only did the entire coaching staff dress in pink and red, we even had flowers, candy and cards for the girls. Before starting practice, we divided the team into four groups to compete in three different games including 52 ball pick-up, A-man Valentine relay, and Dizzy bat. I took some video, it was quite entertaining! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Army Softball on Facebook.

2010: Christmas '09
http://stacybirk10.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas-09.html
Friday, December 25, 2009. This year's Christmas brought the usual fambam time and some beautiful Huntington Beach weather! People often ask how I can possibly have Christmas without snow, but to me that's all I know. Even though I have spent the past 7 winters in Illinois and New York, the only way I know how to celebrate Christmas day is with sun and 70 degree weather. And it doesn't bother me one bit! 2010: Skiing
http://stacybirk10.blogspot.com/2010/03/skiing.html
Sunday, February 28, 2010. I yelled back, "I sucks! And face planted within seconds. Not the same as when I was 8, unfortunately at the age and size of 24, I fell much harder. I made it down the rest of the way safely and shared my story with Kate since she missed it. Not long after, we were heading down the hill a second time and I was flying! This time my skiis got caught when I was trying to turn and just after I yelled to Kate "I'm going to fall," I ate it so hard that both my skiis flew off!

2010: IOCT
http://stacybirk10.blogspot.com/2010/03/ioct.html
Wednesday, March 24, 2010. One of the grad requirements for cadets here is to pass the IOCT (Indoor Obstacle Course Test) during their Cow (Junior) year. For regular people like myself, the IOCT looks like a giant playground! Two days later, Degs passed her IOCT shaving almost a minute off her previous time! Now Kate and I want to practice so we can pass it too =) The shelf:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I like being challenged, I hate losing, and I love playing softball. View my complete profile.

2010: W!
http://stacybirk10.blogspot.com/2010/03/w.html
Monday, March 29, 2010. 1AC (Coach Stake) started a tradition of writing a "W" on her wrist and the wrists of any player, coach, or staff member who wanted to be reminded of our goal. to Win! The W's have gotten quite contagious on our wrists and are also reflected in the effort and intensity our team is playing with. W tally to date: 11. GO ARMY! You need to update your blog. This way, Ill have even more ways to procrastinate at work. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

2010: ACBC & Slingshot
http://stacybirk10.blogspot.com/2010/03/acbc-slingshot.html
Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Another fun thing we did in Florida was get slung 365 feet into the air! Right near our hotel was a small carnival-ish park with a human sling shot. So Kate and I decided we were going to check it out one night after bed checks. We watched 3 times and decided we were definitely going to come back to do it the next night. We conviced our staff buddies, CPT Parrish and AT Danielle to go with us. What a great idea, it was SO much fun! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
