4 Boys and a Gal. Monday, August 25, 2008. I was able to do the surfing for a while without the rope. We needed to go to deeper water in order to get a bigger wake. The problem with that is the river is cold out in the main current where it is deeper. We usually go to the slough where it is about 10 degrees warmer. You can also stand up at the deepest part. Sweet Sunset too, Eh! Wake surfing looks like fun! Nathan suggested fat bags and that congered up some imagination! August 30, 2008 at 8:41 AM.
